About Stephen.
Stephen is the Founder and CEO of Ecommerce Lending. With more than 28 years of experience in lending, he has built one of the leading platforms for business acquisition financing. Under his leadership, the firm has facilitated over $1 billion in acquisition funding and become a trusted financing partner to many of the top business brokerage firms in the country. Stephen lives in Florida with his wife of 30 years and their four adult children. Outside of work, he is an avid Formula 1 fan.
Stephen founded Ecommerce Lending after spending the better part of two decades inside large bank lending desks, where he watched too many qualified buyers get told 'no' by lenders who didn't understand the asset. The firm was built around a simple thesis: buyer-side advisory, run by lenders, with deep program knowledge across SBA 7(a), conventional, and seller-financed structures. Today the firm is the trusted financing partner to many of the top online business brokerage firms in the country and a regular guest on the M&A and ecommerce podcast circuit.
